I loved the space and the tub was also perfect. I liked that everything was open and easily accessible.

My experience at the birth centre was incredible. It had amazing facilities, the atmosphere was quiet, serene and private that I felt very comfortable birthing there. I encourage all women to have this birthing experience.

Although my stay was unfortunately short lived as I ended up being a hospital transfer, the Lucina provided a comfortable and warming environment to labour in. I recommend to anyone looking for the in home (but not at home) experience.

My first daughter was born in a birth center in Switzerland, I really wanted to have a similar experience for my second birth. The Lucina Birth Center provided an environment where I could give birth at my and my daughter’s own pace, we felt safe and comfortable, we had everything that we could possibly wish for at our disposal. I believe we need more places like the Lucina, where women can give birth in a environment that is as close to giving birth at home as possible with all the comforts and none of the stress of a hospital.

I just love the atmosphere there. People knew me by my first name and I just felt so welcome. This was my 2nd time there and I would not have had it any other way! I absolutely LOVE having a midwife and being at Lucina!

I loved how peaceful and welcoming the centre and midwives were, I felt truly cared for and will definitely do it again and recommend the centre and midwives. I’m so happy with how things turned out, just the way I wanted.
